From a very young age I knew I wanted to work in the health and fitness field. I played volleyball at Waldorf college, where I received my B.S. degree in Wellness, and also worked in the strength training facility, and helped out the football team as a student athletic trainer. In 2003 I achieved my ACE certification in personal training and started a job at an elite local fitness center. Over the last 15 years I have helped motivate kids and adults to achieve their health and fitness goals through hard work and consistency. As a soccer mom to 4 kids who all enjoy competitive sports, I know their staying active in the off-season and/or continuing a year round conditioning program is crucial to maximizing performance and staying physically and emotionally healthy. I was just beginning to think about a plan for my own kids when I heard about Peer Driven Fitness and decided to join the team. My children will be participating, because I believe the Peer Driven fitness program will encourage them, and other kids, to push each other to excel in fitness and sport.
